IDLE –

  • Energizes the ignition system through the EEC.

  • Electrically opens the spar fuel shutoff valve in the wing
    leading edge outboard of the pylon.

  • Electrically opens the engine–mounted fuel shutoff valve via
    the EEC.

CUTOFF –

  • Closes both the spar and engine fuel shutoff valves.

  • De–energizes the ignition system.
